Vouchers

Every confirmed booking gets the guest a voucher — a QR code and reference on their phone. Redeeming it at /vendor/redeem is how you mark a booking as completed.

Redeeming

Scan the QR code, or key in the voucher token if you're doing it manually. Masihambe checks that:

• The voucher belongs to your vendor account — you can't redeem someone else's booking.
• The booking is still confirmed — not already redeemed, and not cancelled.

A successful redemption shows the guest's name, party size and the product, so you can check them in against what's on your screen. The booking moves to completed and can't be redeemed again.

If something looks wrong

"Voucher not recognised" means the token doesn't match a confirmed booking with your vendor — double check you're reading the right code. If a booking shows as already completed or cancelled, that redemption already happened or the guest cancelled ahead of time.
